Although Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor come to mind when you think about the most famous of the Vanderpump Rules crew, Scheana Marie believes that Lala Kent is who let the fame of reality TV go to her head. Scheana talked about how Lala has changed since first joining the once uber-popular Bravo show.
All of the stars of VPR had or still has some aspirations to be a superstar. Whether it was modeling, acting, or singing — SUR was just a job that they worked in between.
Most of the OG cast members are now on to other things and putting down roots by buying homes and starting businesses.
Lala, who was a model and is now an actress, was a breath of fresh air during her first few seasons of the series. Now, her beef with the ‘mean girls’ of the program has been laid to rest and she has joined their crew.
Leaving those like Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, and Scheana in the dust, Lala has been accused of becoming a different person.
Marie spoke on the situation on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast. She opened up about how she will see glimmers of old Lala here and there.
‘I still have those moments with her when she is really sweet and I see what she says about me on the after-show and in interviews and it’s just like I don’t know what to believe. I feel like she’s more real when she’s talking shit about me [than when] she’s being nice.’
The Good As Gold singer believes that Kent is more egotistical than Schroeder.
‘She has that ‘I’m better than you’ attitude. She has more followers than a lot of us and she just thinks she’s [above us]. The thing with Stassi is she’s a pretty selfish person, which she admits, but she’s not mean and hurtful the way she used to be.’
