On Wednesday, Forbes magazine released its ranking of the most valuable teams, which is made up of NFL and NBA franchises in the first 10 positions.

Jerry Jones' NFL team, the Cowboys, is by far the number one with a value of nine billion dollars, almost 2bn dollars more than its closest rival, the MLB's New York Yankees, who are valued at 7.1bn dollars.

The top three is rounded out by the NBA's Golden State Warriors at 7.0bn dollars, who, thanks to six titles between 2015 and 2022, have increased their value significantly over the past decade.
