It’s been a while but Cher Lloyd has returned from being “M.I.A.”. Was the track worth the wait?
Cher Lloyd is finally back with a brand new release! But instead of apologizing for being late, this time around, she wants you to go missing in action with her.
Her latest track is titled “M.I.A.”. It follows her feature on the Quintino track “Don’t Lose Love” earlier this year. The track tells the story of a Cher Lloyd who is “bored out of her mind” at a party she is forced to attend with some friends. She then encounters a guys that she finds herself “vibing to (…) all night“. At the end, she comes up with a proposition: “You and I could be catching waves somewhere. I say Hi, now lets go M.I.A“.
“M.I.A.” is refreshing new release by the singer. It sees Cher Lloyd combining her early roots in hip hop with her affinity for creating catchy pop releases. Together with the acclaimed German hip-hop producers JOZNEZ as well as her usual collaborators HITIMPULSE (they also produced her 2018 release “None Of My Business”), the singer created a fun track that more than just makes up for the long wait.
But: please, don’t go m.i.a. on us again, Cher! This song is too good to not follow it up with another banger!
